Finding a lost wedding ring in Atoka

By Webmaster | October 11, 2009

Recently a gentleman from Atoka contacted the club for help in solving a problem. It seems that his wife was in their backyard, playing with the family dog when her wedding ring went flying. Although they searched extensively, they were unsuccessful in finding the ring. Several members of the Memphis Metal Detector Club made the trek out to Atoka and had a small buddy-hunt to try and locate the ring. Club secretary Carolyn Glaze extended the search area a bit and managed to find the ring.

Unfortunately a trip through the lawn mower had dislodged the stone, but the setting (and much of the sentimental value) was intact.

Have you lost something metallic? Perhaps the Memphis Metal Detector Club or one of our members can help! Although there is no fee for such efforts, donations to the club treasury are always appreciated.
