January 2008 newsletter and upcoming buddy hunt

By Webmaster | January 21, 2008

Sarah Kee, our new Secretary for 2008, just sent out the January newsletter. Here it is:

January 17, 2008 was the first meeting of the New Year and we had 18 attendees.

Ms. Leigh Ripka joined MMDC and we are excited to have a new member and hope she will be with us for long while.  We also have a new club president!  Mr. Jim Bryson!

It’s time to pay dues.  For one year and one person is $20.00. However, you and your family may join for one year for $25.00.

We are now talking about the Spring 2008 hunt so if you have any ideas regarding the hunt, please feel free to share them at the next meeting.

There is a coin show at the Desoto Civic Center Feb. 29th- March 2nd for anyone who would like to attend.

We would like to THANK Jason and James Scaccia for donating some really nice door prizes for the spring hunt!

Our next MMDC meting will be February 21st @ 7:00p.m.

******REMINDER*******
THERE WILL BE A BUDDIES HUNT ON SATURDAY THE 26TH OF JANUARY, 9:00A.M., AT CENTENNIAL PARK IN MILLINGTON.  ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO COME OUT AND BRUSH UP ON THEIR HUNTING SKILLS!  THERE IS NO COST AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

You guys have a very nice website. I’m a member of SMARTS Treasure Club in Knoxville. At one time I took care of our site, but I gave up on it. Nice work!
